PRF Tear Trough Treatment
PRF Tear Trough Treatment
The delicate area under the eyes or the tear trough is a popular area for facial fillers. Facial fillers can eliminate or reduce dark circles and eye bags without surgery. The question is: which under-eye filler works the best and is the safest?
Many plastic surgeons like to use harvested PRF that has platelets, fibrin and white blood cells that contribute to wound healing collagen products improved elasticity. PRF has been used for eye wrinkles and tear troughs because PRF is easy to use and turns into a gel-like substance quickly.
Disclaimer: The use of PRP and PRF is growing in popularity as an option for cosmetic treatment. It is not yet approved by the FDA, however. At this time there is no published scientific data that backs up the claims made by PRP and PRF, but the demand is high, and patients want more organic rejuvenation treatments. Therapies that harness the growth factors in your own blood for cosmetic enhancement are preferred. Individual Results May Vary.

FAQs
PRF (contains high concentrations of white blood cells, fibrin, and a small number of stem cells) is harvested from your blood. One vial of blood is drawn to fill a tube. The blood is placed inside a specialized centrifuge designed to separate PRF from other blood components. PRF becomes gel-like after 15 or 20 minutes of being isolated and immediately upon being injected turns gel-like and pliable. Combining PRF with hyaluronic acid dermal fillers produces an injectable that improves the quality of surrounding skin and specifically under-eye hollows or tear troughs.
PRF is mainly used to treat areas of the face that are a deficient area that include under the eyes, the corners of the mouth, and the temples. This product has the advantage of rejuvenating skin quality. It is made form your blood, which makes it easy to return to your body. There is no risk of rejection or allergic reaction.
