Restylane
Here at our medical spa in Glastonbury - Samara MedSpa CT — we’re proud to offer Restylane products to our clients throughout Greater Hartford, Farmington Valley, and southern Massachusetts. Restylane products are hyaluronic acid dermal fillers that can help you achieve younger-looking skin. Hyaluronic acid is naturally found in your body, but it decreases as you age. By using a dermal filler with hyaluronic acids, such as Restylane products, you can increase hydration, fullness, and elasticity in your skin. Our professional spa treatments using Restylane products can help improve smile and frown lines or can even serve as lip, under-eye, and cheek fillers. Contact our medical spa today to schedule your appointment for a Restylane injection — younger-looking skin is just one appointment away!

FAQs
The “cupid’s bow” is the double curve of the upper lip, resembling the bow of Cupid, the Roman god of love. The upper lip is believed to be most attractive when it is well-defined and when the two sides look the same. Everyone’s facial structure is different, and so is everyone’s ideal lip shape and size. In the hands of highly skilled injector Samara Ambrosio, the medical director of Samara MedSpa CT, these Restylane products can provide precise lip shaping, balance and contour, resulting in silkier, smoother lips and natural-looking results.
The duration of fillers depends on a variety of factors, including how much filler was injected, the age and metabolism of the client, the amount of repetitive movement and demand placed on the area that was injected, and the type of filler injected.
With full treatment, you can see lasting results from 6 to 12 months and beyond. Most clients are in love with their immediate results and will need regular “touch-ups” to maintain the results they receive immediately post-treatment. The dermal filler will slowly and naturally absorb and dissolve over the coming months, requiring re-treatment for your desired look. Your medical esthetician can work with you to determine how often you would like to receive spa treatments and dermal fillers.
